The design,
with the work ahead.

A transparent look at the current composting-chair concept. These resources explain an engineering proposal, not a built or validated product.

The existing draft film and manuals include a proposed rigid liner guard. Its necessity and servicing implications are still under review. One lid-refitting illustration also shows coir before the intended charging step. These details have not been approved as the final service sequence. Use the intended service outline on the main page for the current brief; do not treat these drafts as instructions for real-world use.

A clearer way to explore.

The new room film is an AI-staged demonstration with a fictional, fully clothed person. The chair and paper holder are appearance concepts constrained with matching reference frames. It is not footage of a fabricated product or evidence of a safe transfer.

The new mechanism and service films prescribe motion directly on CAD-derived meshes. Clean water, coir, airflow and flexible-bag behavior are illustrative. The extra rigid white liner guard is omitted from the new intended-state service. The original model and older drafts remain unchanged in the engineering archive.

Ten CAD-derived 3D views

One design. Different ways in.

The website GLBs use the same source meshes and assembly locations as the R7.12 CAD export, with gray HDPE, light-gray FLPE and metal finish approximations. The unapproved Y01 rigid liner guard and Y24 guard straps are omitted from these display derivatives. They have not been deleted from the Fusion design or engineering archive. Interactive model materials are simplified for the browser.

Exploded views separate components for inspection. The paper holder is an accessory appearance concept, not yet a modeled or load-tested mounting assembly. Open the interactive explorer ↗

The complete chair story.

The bedroom routine, internal mechanisms and intended bag-change sequence together. Captions explain each stage. This is a design visualization using clean stand-ins, not a product test or released operating instruction.

The intended mechanisms.

The draft covers lid operation, the cassette shutter, mixing, ventilation and servicing. CAD and generated imagery illustrate the design. They do not demonstrate a tested physical mechanism.

Engineering documents

Drafts for review.

These documents accompany the development model. Hardware interfaces, hygienic servicing, safe controls and performance need validation before fabrication or use.

What needs to be proved

From model to hardware.

  • Transfer stability, load capacity, reach and pinch protection.
  • Safe occupancy sensing and lid/shutter control under faults.
  • Bag retention and protection around the agitator.
  • Bin drive traction, docking retention and service disconnects.
  • Sealing, cleaning, urine storage and material compatibility.
  • Measured airflow with the filter and approximately five metres of 2-inch duct.
  • Safe handling and a locally compliant treatment or disposal route.

Image provenance

What you are looking at.

Interactive 3D models and labeled CAD illustrations come from the R7.12 development geometry. The exterior appearance image and toilet-paper-holder image are AI visualizations, not photographs of a constructed product. The holder is a mounting concept and has not been added to the CAD design.

No patient outcomes, safety certification, odor performance or service interval have been established by these images or documents.
